The website "SympathyCards.com" is wholly owned by Directors Advantage Inc and is a provider of sympathy card services to Legacy.com visitors. Directors Advantage Inc. provides the ecommerce platform, card printing, and fulfillment and is responsible for the website and security of consumer information collected in conjunction with a sympathy card order. By purchasing a sympathy card on this website, you are agreeing to the terms set forth below.

Secure payment

By purchasing a sympathy card on SympathyCards.com, you are agreeing to pay the total amount due with a credit card at the time of purchase and giving permission to Directors Advantage to print and mail a card to the address chosen at the time of the purchase.

Directors Advantage accepts only one form of payment for sympathy card orders and that is by credit card processed on sympathycards.com. Users will see "SympathyCards.com" on their credit card statement. Directors Advantage will charge the total amount of the sale to the credit card used during the purchase. The total amount due will include the card, shipping & handling charges as well as any applicable taxes


Unless otherwise noted, Directors Advantage Inc. will fulfill your sympathy card order and place it in the mail the next business day. Delivery is made via the USPS First Class mail and the delivery time is subject to their ability and time frame. Directors Advantage Inc. makes no express or implied guarantees as to the exact delivery of the card to the intended recipient and is not responsible for any damages that arise out of a card being delivered late, or not at all, when the delivery is performed by a third party. If a card does not make it to the intended recipient and, after investigation, is deemed "lost”, Directors Advantage Inc. will reproduce and replace the original card and cover the additional mailing cost.


All cards purchased on SympathyCards.com have the ability to have a personal note added to the order which is then printed on the card that the intended recipient will receive. All comments added to cards are screened and moderated by Directors Advantage. If the comments infringe on the law or are inappropriate (abusive language, defamation, insults, out of context commentary…), Directors Advantage Inc reserves the right to refuse to produce the order. In the event a card is not fulfilled, a refund will be issued, and the purchaser notified of the decision.


If for any reason you are unsatisfied with the card you ordered for any reason, you may submit a request for a refund by emailing legacy.support@sympathycards.com or calling 1-888-534-1404. Refunds will be applied back to the original card used for the purchase and can take 5-7 business days to reflect on your credit card statement.

Intellectual ownership

All the content on SympathyCards.com (illustrations, texts, names, images and videos) is the property of Directors Advantage Inc. Any partial or total reproduction of this content, by any means and on any support, is subject to prior and express authorization by Directors Advantage Inc.. All information, content and files are protected by International law concerning intellectual ownership and copyright.

Legacy.com uses Directors Advantage Inc., the owner of SympathyCards.com as a third-party fulfillment for all sympathy card orders. Legacy.com is the sole owner of the Legacy & Legacy.com brands. Directors Advantage Inc. is not affiliated with Legacy.com in any way other than as a third-party fulfillment partner.
